What is a HURU Criminal Background Check:

A HURU Criminal Background Check (CRC) determines if an individual has a criminal background in South Africa. This process involves electronically capturing and submitting fingerprints to the SAPS Criminal Background Database. A report is then generated, indicating the individual's criminal background status. More information available HERE.

Note:

• A HURU CRC is not valid for Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) applications, PSiRA registration, or Visa Facilitation Services Global.

Process to get a HURU Criminal Background Check:

• Visit a participating POSTNET STORE with your original ID

(RSA ID Card/Book, RSA Driver’s License, or Foreign Passport).

• PostNet will capture your information, photo, and fingerprints.
• Choose the required service type.
• Make the payment in-store.
• Receive your HURU Criminal Background Check via email or have it printed in-store.
